WallDrafts is a free wallpaper download service. We make reasonable efforts to ensure all wallpapers are either original content, properly licensed, or believed to be in the public domain.
WallDrafts respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that content on WallDrafts infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.
Required Information for DMCA Notice
A valid DMCA takedown notice must include:
- Your full legal name and contact information
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- URL(s) of the allegedly infringing wallpaper(s) on WallDrafts
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
2. Takedown Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:
- We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
- We will review the notice for completeness
- If valid, we will remove or disable access to the content within 24-48 hours
- We will notify the affected content (if applicable)
3. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the removed content
- A statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief of removal error
- Consent to jurisdiction in your local federal district court
- Your physical or electronic signature
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, we may disable or terminate access to users who are repeat infringers.
5. Misuse of DMCA Process
Knowingly submitting false DMCA claims may result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
