Help
Quick tips for downloading wallpapers and setting them on your computer, plus simple advice for choosing the right resolution and scaling mode so your desktop looks sharp.
1) Download a wallpaper
- Open any wallpaper page.
- Click Download Now.
- If your browser asks, choose where to save the file.
2) Set wallpaper on Windows
- Right‑click the downloaded image.
- Select Set as desktop background (or open Settings → Personalization → Background).
3) Set wallpaper on macOS
- Open the image in Preview.
- Go to System Settings → Wallpaper and choose the image.
4) Set wallpaper on Linux
Most desktop environments support this via right‑click on the desktop or Settings → Appearance/Background.
5) Choose the best resolution
- Match your screen: for best clarity, choose a wallpaper with the same resolution as your monitor (for example, 1920×1080 or 2560×1440).
- Higher is fine: using a larger wallpaper usually works well; your system will scale it down.
- Aspect ratio matters: 16:9 fits most monitors, while ultrawide screens often use 21:9.
6) Scaling modes (Fill / Fit / Stretch)
If a wallpaper looks cropped or blurry, try switching the scaling mode in your system wallpaper settings: Fill crops to fit, Fit shows the entire image with borders if needed, and Stretch can distort the image.
